New York 17 is a highway that will be Interstate 86.  NY-17 starts at I-90 near Erie, PA.   Then it makes its way through the Catskill Mountains and then is duplexes with I-87.  NY-17 becomes NJ-17 then ends at NY-4 near NYC.  This highway is undergoing the operation of becoming I-86.  The completion won't happen until 2009.
